does anyone else have trouble with symbicort. tried it for two days....was having so much trouble breathing i was willing to sign up for clinical trials for lung cancer patients.....

I use it twice a day for 3 years..no problem. What trouble is it causing?

I used it for a couple of years without any side effects.

I love Symbicort been using it for several years, no problems.

I used it for about 3 months but had to go back to Advair as it seemed that my lungs were struggling harder. Could have been other factors involved but since I am a big C02 retainer, it does impact my meds, no matter what I use.

I am waiting until the first of the year to discuss something else that I might try. Remember your doc said all patients were different? So are the effects that the meds have. Just trial and change until you find the combination that works for you.

I've not used Symbicort but I know we are not always able to tolerate the drugs prescribed, thanks goodness there are more than one to choose from.

Check back with your doc barney, I'm sure there is something else that will be helpful for you.
