I'm just heading out for some exercise fun :o)
Besides sitting in one place for too long can certainly get boring and allows those love handles to increase in size if ya know what I mean, wink wink
If your mojo's got up and gone - get up and go - some exercise is sure to get the circulation back into motion and help encourage a body in good working order, even achieve the best possible with COPD :o)
Enjoy your day all.
Thanks Holly for posting this information.
Sitting at the computer, reading, painting, sewing, building puzzles, watching tv, etc.
No little ones to chase (lucky you) but I do have stairs and I try very diligently to move enough each hour to accomplish some strengthning of my motor skills. Not going to be running a marathon anytime soon but I can walk 2-3 hours when shopping. :)
I am so very sorry your hips hurt, you have some days of feeling better.
There are other things we an do even if we cant get up to walk around and exercise.
Here is a set of videos I use a lot, actually my sister Nancy who has hip problems and doesn't have COPD uses these videos too, she says they make her day go better.

Sorry you are in pain with your hips. Hope you are feeling better soon.
I have to thank you for bringing up a very important point.
No one should feel bad or guilty about whatever they do.. on both ends of the spectrum or in the middle or wherever they fall.
Sometimes as we all and I include myself too) post articles we forget that if the "everybody button " worked for all then we'd all be cured and not dealing with stuff. For every article on one end of the spectrum, another counter article can be found.. then add the variables too for each of our own other medical issues and its a truly individual ball game... the way it should be!
You just can do what you can do.. no nagging, no guilt, not crowing, no excuses and no apologies. Its all between you and your medical team and just be proud of what and when you can do what you have decided is right for YOU!
I hope you feel better Jnita,
Love
Holly
I tell all my friends/family, the only things that work good anymore are my brain and my mouth.
