I was wondering about him too. He has been very ill and didn't post except for music for awhile and now nothing? I don't know but I'm praying that he is doing as well as he can; that he know we are missing him and that he is comfortable.

Sometimes we tire easily and need to take a break, I sure hope that's all it is.

ty hank, i hope you get some good news soon for us. there are a few familiar faces that haven't posted for awhile, maybe they will "check in here" so we know they are okay.
it seems that march is often the month people have flare ups/exacerbations---so my prayers are with all for a healthy transition into spring.

My apologies for not "checking in".

Excuses are like butts, everybody has one, and most always stink. LOL!

Excuse #1: In short: I am doing as well as can be expected, under my circumstances. Ever since the DBS stimulator battery died last Oct and my pulmonologist refuses to sign off on the replacement surgery so I can be "normal" once again, I lurk more than I contribute. The tremors are so bad, thanks to my PD, that it is most difficult to even type most days, unless I take an extra/or two carb/levo. Then I can type for about fifteen minutes.

Excuse #2: My sister is still hospitalized in a long term care facility due to her emphysema. No idea when, if ever, she'll be able to return home.

Excuse #3: I have a younger brother, who like my sister looks like death warmed over. You've seen pictures of the Auschwitz detainees from WWII, that's what they look like. In my brothers case, his lung cancer is not in remission, even though he lost one lung to the cancer. He and his wife are now waiting for Hospice to begin.

As you can see, as the oldest brother, I've got a lot "on my plate". It also includes a younger brother in FL who suffers terribly from PTSD and Agent Orange exposure as a result of the Vietnam war. This means many phone calls on a daily basis between here in NJ and Melbourne, FL Needless to say, both of my chronic illnesses, PD and end stage emphysema, cause exasperations with each one that no one can contemplate, so I choose not to "lay them on you all.

All of their (my siblings) ills combined help me keep my own frailties in perspective.

Then, I have all of you to keep in my prayers as well. In my thinking, you are all my brothers and sisters and are of more importance to me than I am to my own self. My God is with me with the Faith that one of those drops of blood that Jesus shed on the cross had my name on it!

It's so good to hear from you (but I wish things were better for you.)

Have you thought about looking into "talk to text" (voice recognition) software? That would solve the typing problem: You dictate, the software types it. Years ago a friend of mine used Dragon Speech Recognition to "write" an entire book without typing.
