Sensitive Tongue

I have just recently have come up with an issue with my tongue. It is very sensitive when I eat anything and it feels like its on fire when I chew my food and the food touches certain parts of my tongue. BarbaraLou mentioned this in her reply in the Eating Healthy topic. At the point where I don't want to eat anything because I know how much it will hurt my tongue.

I've been on a 14 day azithromyacin 250mg and 20mg prednisone prescribed by my pulmonary Dr. I have a coupe of days left on this script.

What would cause the tongue become so sensitive?

again, my many thank you's and appreciations.

This is my last day of the azithromycin/prednisone run of 14 days. Hopefully in a day or two I'll be able to eat without the pain.

I hardly ever rinse just drink water n no problems but I get some mean ulcers on my bottom inside lips......no idea why but maybe there is a connection....

Also my Azitromycin/Pred regime has been the 3 day thing, but I know people take weekly 3 doses of Azith as a back up......Ive only been on Levofloxin for the 14 day period...my pulmo said if my phelm was green to use the Levo n not the Azith.....no idea if its right or wrong....
