I'm on my second Tudorza inhaler & so far no problems at all with the mechanism. That sounds awful. I know my pharmacy had to special order them in for me, so if I had a problem I would have to wait. I was their first patient taking the new inhaler.
I hope this gets cleared up & quickly!

Pharmacy was not any help. I brought the Tudorza home and they gave me the number of the mauufacturer to call. I did that and of course I had to leave a message on the complaint line. Val had a wild idea and put the vacuum hose on the part where you inhale...it WORKED! The little indicator turned red. OK now we know...if you run into that problem use your vacuum LOL. We will see later today if it works without the vacuum????

I wasn't able to use Tudorza it would not dispense a drug for me. I tried two different sample inhalers at different times. Not sure if they were defective or it was my lung condition. The drug company should make a dispenser that is able to be used by people with breathing problems.

Thanks Zelii-I am not sure about the lung function cant make it work but the vacumm works! WOW as much as we pay for that drug and dispenser you would think it would work perfectly no matter what the lung function is...after all isnt it supposed to save our lives??? I am really puzzled by the lack of service as well...the manufacturer has not called us back. What do they think the patient is doing without a workable inhaler? Just saying..
The vacuum works-it will change the green to red and then Val can inhale and out it comes. Brother

LOL but the vacuum doesn't need the meds we do. I didn't get very far when I called them either. They told me to just keep trying. I guess the delivery is part of the patent and they would have to go back to square one to change it now.

The vacuum only gets the green to turn to red-then you can inhale the powder. So frustrating but it has worked now for 3 doses. This has nothing to do with how hard you inhale the mechanism that dispenses sticks and the vacuum loosens it. So frustrating but Zelli if you have problems try it. No word from the manufacture. You buy Tedorza and have problems too bad for you, $350.00 is nothing right? We will have Dr change to something else when all of the doses are gone.

But each time you get stuck that means the vacuum gets the medicine not you. So your vac has had three doses of your medicine. Its way to expensive to throw away like that. Its is not on my drug list so I had to pay more for it besides.

NO the vacumm does not get the dosage! By using the vacumm you are sucking the dispenser inside to turn (??) and put the NEXT dose to the front-you will see the green area turn RED-that means it is READY for you to inhale.

Another complaint we have is the dosage counter only counts every TEN doses. Ridiculous it does not count down one at a time!
