Morning - I have a portable concentrator that only goes up to 3 lpm - unfortunately, I now need 6 LPM continuous - does anyone know of any portable concentrator that goes up that high

any information on this is greatly appreciated

Hi roepete. Just checked mine. It's an Economizer from MedLine and it goes up to 6, either continuous or conserve.

I recently got a prescription for a POC. Lincare kept saying that they didn't do that until my insurance co. told them that since I have to travel to Cleveland every 6 months that I qualified for a POC. YAY!! Seems I'm on a list, but I have to go to Cleveland next month & I went to Lincare to rent one, to the tune of 285 a week, they told me I might be getting mine, paid for/almine, before then, all I can say is the squeaky wheel gets the oil & I can be a REAL B :>))

Hi Kaput - I too go to the Cleveland Clinic every 3 to 6 months - I was on my last test when they found I had a swallowing problem (something called Achalasia - so I'm not sure if they will do a transplant - but I am still scheduled to go back

I am now on 6 LPM of oxygen - will the insurance (assuming I fight the for a concentrator cover a machine and will the machine go up that high - have you been listed for a transplant?

The Respironics Evergo will do 6 LPM demand pulse, but the battery probably will not last more than about 4 hours. I don't recall seeing any portable doing over 3 LPM continous, as the low volume compressor/ power system can't support it for long.

Morning Dennis - I was afraid of that - I do use liquid oxygen but its so unreliable - and I hate the e tanks - but thanks so much for your input
