I don't have one but have been considering getting one. My insurance will only pay for it OR one of the standard portable ones that uses tanks. which I have. I can't have both.....can't afford to purchase either on my own. I will be interested in finding out how it performs for you. I am on 2l.

Deb, it is a pulse breath or continuous? I have an Evergo by Resp and it weighs about 13 lbs. What kind of battery life does it have, and finally LOL LOL LOL does it charge while in use, okay that wasn't the final one, new final question, does it work off of both AC and DC ? -- Bill

It goes to 5 lps, pulse only, weighs 5 lbs, has 2 lithium batteries & works off both AC & DC ( The batteries will charge if I'm using it when it's plugged into the wall or car) , at 2 lps it should last 2.5 to 3 hours per battery. I'm playing with it it right now to see:>)) Debbie

Deb, I have The Freestyle POC by AirSep. It weighs 5 lbs w/o additional batteries. Actually, I have never used the additional battery as I travel by auto and the unit charges as I use it by plugging into the lighter outlet. The Airsep has the warning lights as to battery available and also a light pulses each time you take a breath so that is comforting to see when you can just look and know that you are receiving air when you breath in.

I have not tried to use it to sleep as it is only pulse (to 5 lpm) and I use continuous at night. I use a room concentrator when at home.

I used it the 12 weeks that I was in respiratory therapy and it worked great just on the battery within.

Anna, sounds pretty much the same as the one I have. I've rented Poc's before & mostly use them in the car because the ones I've rented have been big & heavy. I just take my full sized O2 concentrator or have one delivered by my provider to where I'm staying. I'd rather take my own though because they always send those really loud ones. Now I don't have to carry around all those tanks. Hate that. Keeping them though, just in case :>)) Debbie

Just wondering Kaput, can you sleep with that just being on pulse dose? I have to have continous at night, and my eclipse does both. My doctor would not order even pulse in the day time because he said he is afraid I would not get enough, However, I use it on pulse when I am driving to and from Temple, going to the doctor, then turn it on continous when I arrive, to walk in. But He said at night, if you are a mouth breather, you have to have continous.
Hope it works for you. My sequal is heavy, even tho it is on wheels, but I have been thinking of getting me one that is lighter to carry around. If yours does both, that may be what I need. Mine does the batteries, car, elec, and all.

No. I have to use my full sized concentrator to sleep with. I usually take my own on trips because my provider seems to always send the loudest one they have. Can't sleep on pulse :>))

I've been tested recently for a POC. Unfortunately, I need 4 to 4.5 liters to breath freely. As you know, by now, that they only go to 3 liters continuous and up to 6 liters on pulse. I was not approved, and I am still waiting for newer models with higher continuous liters.
