Yes, I read the articles about taking a marijuana pill. Unless they can repair my "airways" that have been destroyed from smoking..I would not be a canidadte for them.
As for the marijuana.............Haven't heard that one......but I miss a lot:)
I don't remember feeling this, but then I have enough gabapentin in me to choke a horse - which does supress neural transmission. So I'm betting that the body is just shutting down things in reaction to the percieved lack of O2. I often end up with tunnel vision during a coughing fit and I see "stars' on my peripheral vision when mySPO2 is below 89. I'm betting it hits us each a little different.
I haven't read the marijuana article, but I'm betting it's used to reduce general anxiety - which in turn reduces the incidence of low O2 panic attacks. Some of us are prescribed morphine for reducing anxiety.
