I have seen this mentioned here a number of times. I assume it is a device that measures the amount of oxygen in a person's system? Can one be purchased without a prescription? Does one have to draw blood to use it?
I'm thinking it might be something I could use to determine just how bad my husband really is. He is too stubborn to find out, but I would like to have a better handle on how far progressed his illness is.

by monotoring mine, i know what is going on with my body (and i love it has pulse also---now they need one that does BP also & we'd have it "all in one"
i didn't realize the difference in SOB & SPO2 = learn something new every day here !!!
