I had to share something with my friends.

I have a Koi pond in my back yard. My pride and joy. The big problem is a raccoon that has been attacking it for the past 2.5 years. I have tried everything to get rid of it and have been unsuccessful. I resorted to buying a pellet riffle and attempted to shoot it but I either missed or the gun is not powerful enough.
With that being said..................

I woke at 5 to go to the bathroom and had that feeling that I should look at the pond and guess what there was that fricking raccoon. The thing was so brazen that it look right at me and proceeded to eat my fish. I got the gun and took a shot, I missed and he just gave me the finger. I shot again and he heard it and ran out of the pond. Each time I shot I have to reload. The bad boy came back and went straight back to the pond. The third shot I hit him in the front leg, though I was aiming for his head. I hit HIM!! The whole time I am dragging this 50 foot hose around getting stuck in the door while trying to close it so the cat will not run out.
He dragged himself out of the water and barely crawled behind the bush. Since it is dark out I am afraid to go out and check. I am terrified of those beasts. I will have to wait till first light and go out and check, in the meantime I am sitting here so wound up I can not go back to sleep. The prednisone I am taking does not help one bit. It makes me anxious and nervous. I am only going to be on it a couple more days I am almost over my pneumonia.
