I am trying once again to let people know there is a way of dealing with periodic infections of the lungs.
I have posted this info a number of times but I guess the people are always changing and new people coming in. I used to get lung infections every few months and of course they would put me on prednisone and antibiotics and in a couple of weeks I would get over the problem. This went on for the first year of the discovery that I had emphysema. I thought there has to be a better way then dealing with these infections every few months. I did a lot of searching and came up with SSKI. It is potassium iodide The point is, I have had only one lung infection in about 3years. It is super cheap but you have to look for it at various places. Believe it or not , The price runs from $3 to about $30. I buy mine from world organic for about $3 for 2 oz bottles. You only use a few drops a day or if you feel like you are coming down with a lung problem, you might increase the amount. The MD Dr. Wright who wrote the paper mentions a couple other things because there is only one side effect, everything seems to have a side effect, you might want to have your thyroid checked now and then. You really do not have to put up with these periodic infections.

Vitamins & potions: D3,B12, B6,C,fish oil,Lycopene,tincture of purple periwinkle,anatabloc . The last 3 are for inflammation. :>))
