Hello my family,
So, i'm going to the NY State Fair this Saturday. The weather forecast is behaving with me...It's going to be 80, low humidty !!!!!
I''m renting an electric scooter, cause I can't walk like that, can't walk great at all lately anyways.
So, I won't get out of breath, or be in pain too much, and ride my little scooter around the fair and have some fun.
I need some fun, it's been a hell of a month.
Mom is moving over into the Nursing Home part of the rehab place she was at. I couldn't find an Assisted Living place that would take her, and none of the Nursing homes that we would have chosen, had any beds.
So, at least she will have a room, and they are transitioning her in the next day or so.
All I can say is "Medicare for the Elderly" SUCKS....and it was not a fun experience, seeing how much money the elderly have to pay, to just live out there lives in a nursing home, after all they've done in their lives. Even the one's that save money..it's just too much money that they charge.
Ok, Hoping to win a stuffed animal this Saturday...and something cute for Mom. going to see her on sunday.

Sometimes with the bi pap, of which I HAVE been wearing the past few nights, I feel like I can't breath, and take it off and just wear my cannula. Not sure why sometimes I am fine with bi pap, and sometimes i'm not??? Had a stuffy nose, thought maybe that's why...
Oh well, that is my COPD update , to add to the above posting.

so glad your 02's doing so well....OH! i got a new batch of canula's the other day...and like you brought up, even when i tighten them down on my neck they don't seem to fit right & feel like they are going to just pop out of my nostril....do you do the curved ones?
Chrissie...transitioning..meaning...a new room, different floor, new nurses...just "getting used to " her new surroundings, is my definition..is that better?
