I posted this before, but wanted to post it again.
Its so important to breathe deeply if you can when using the nebuliser so the meds gets into your lungs.
With COPD our breathing is sometimes shallow and we forget to take deep breathes,
so while using your nebuliser, breath deeply if you can to get more medicine where the you need it in the lungs.
Instructions below:
Nebuliser
Nebulisers are medical devices that deliver medicine as a vapour for people to inhale.
How to use a nebuliser
Find a location where you can sit comfortably for 10-15 minutes. Plug in the compressor.
It is very important to get specific written instructions if you are mixing your own nebulized treatments. Mix the medication as directed, or empty the prepared unit dose vials (UDVs) into the nebulizer. Do not mix different types of medications without permission from your doctor or pharmacist.
Assemble the mask or mouthpiece and connect the tubing from this to the port on the compressor.
Sit in an upright position, making sure you are comfortable. Put the mask over your nose and mouth (make sure it fits properly so the mist doesn't flow up into your eyes); OR, if you are using a mouthpiece, put it into your mouth.
Turn on the compressor.
Take slow, deep breaths. If possible, hold your breath for 10 seconds before slowly exhaling.
Continue until the medication chamber is empty.

It's about posting things that will help members with same problems and not something they, themselves can look-for, find and read off the internet! And to not, then repeatably bump it up to the top of discussion board. If it's worthy and helping others in the group, I think you'll find that it will stay at the top of discussion board, and if it's not interesting, it will soon disappear from the discussion board!
I totally understand the boring time, its that way with me too, and probably with many others too.
I find that the problem I had with the nebuliser was that I was not taking deep enough breaths.
so, I wrote in big black letters on the front of my machine, BREATH DEEP! to remind me.
