Pat -
A contrary bunch aren't we? Exercise will help us live more productively and happily longer, surgery notwithstanding. I have to challenge myself every day to face the treadmill and weights. Most days I make it, others not so good. Try to get past the BS, crank up the radio and have a good workout...
Hugs,
Dennis
Pat, did you get your butt in gear today?
This service can be easily provided if need be.

So what time today has been blocked out for exercising? We get to choose the best time and the best length of time - we are in control.
I do housework & exercise (don't care which one - even if it's sitting and raising one leg at a time) to music. Loud Music with a beat!! Then, I hope that no one comes to the door in the middle of my imaginary, Studio 51. Ha ha!
Hugs,
NewBunky
PS: My exercise is not vigorous. I pace.
I also make sure that I don't sit anywhere too long - i.e. the computer- and get up and walk around every few minutes.

like other there has always been work to do that kept me just as fit.
now, where i can't handle weather changes & can't do many "chore" type things to keep in shape i too have a hard time remembering to get up and do my excercise routine.
i love the idea of music...i REALLY need to get a new player since mine broke...i just never think "to pick one up"---i am even missing my christmas music that i love to BLARE this time of year.
i'll have to add that to my list for next "walmart" trip :)
Hus,
Dennis
EXERCISE is the thing that will give you a better quality of life. Upper and Lower body exercise will prevent muscle wasting and believe me you don't won't to go there.
If you can make it to the grocery store, push the cart and walk the entire store. It helps if your cart has weight in it (all veggies of course). Steering a heavy cart around that healthy person that just won't move will give you a workout in your upper body.
sigh, that takes the fun out of dragging my self out to the store ;)
and the WHOLE store????
how bout 1/2 of a small store?
---just bored & messing with ya ;)
have a great evening (everyone :))
