I looked it up on wikipedia though . The drug has never been tested on humans so I think I would not take it. It's some type of opiate and some parts of the chemical make up are similar to digitalis- a heart medication.
It's probably okay for some people to take it without any ill effects and others get sick from it .
I use it for pain relief, energy, anxiety and depression, it works wonders. I used to take 15-20 trams a day or 10+ vicodin a day. Now, all i take is kratom and don't need any pills at all. I recommend anyone who is curious to join a kratom group. They are full of answers for questions you may have. Please give this wonderful herb a chance!!
It's the leaf off of a tree that works on your opiod receptors. It is pain relieving and muscle relaxing, and is also used to ease withdrawal. There is a ton of info available on it if you do a search.
helping with the pain and muscle spasms. I got a really warm feeling in my muscles and then felt them starting to relax. And it dropped my pain level by a full number.

My pain Dr. knows I will not take any narcotics and I am afraid of Celebrex's side affects. He gave me a topical cream that contains ketamine. Ketamine is what I used to sedate animals before I euthanized them. At first I was afraid to use the cream but desperation took over and I tried it. It works wonderful....unlike theragesic or aspercream and there are no side effects. I was afraid it would mess with my mind but you don't even know you've used it except that the pain (mine is mostly back muscular and arthritis in my back) is almost diminished.
I want to know more about this Kratom.

some people get them & some don't.
i pray this works for you!
it says it can be addictive, but who cares if it helps you have quality life?
i learned long ago, addiction and abuse are 2 different things; as long as you use it as dr orders then go for it!!!!
so as long as you follow instructions you should be okay...and of course i'm sure your dr is monitoring---as mine does with certain meds i take.
morphine is addictive, but proven to help COPD in later stages, we have to do what we have to do to not suffer.
Having joined a FB site called chronic pain support group, I entered a new world of having to live with PAIN.....lots of advice about getting n being denied disability and so many whose lives that are a living hell...that I count my blessings for everything I am blessed with.....
The only herbal suppliments I now take are Hemp Seed Oil and Manuka Honey with Cinnamon Seeds...

I thought you had said that you took it and it helped. Never mind then because I'm afraid to be a test subject for anything. It might be fine for young healthy people if they take it for a buzz but my old system probably couldn't hold up. My fun days are over.
I just liked the idea because it wasn't a big pharma. drug. I doubt it's FDA regulated but that wouldn't bother me one bit because I consider the FDA to be about as useful as tits on a bull. Every day there is a new ad on TV from some shister lawfirm about sueing some drug company for a bad drug that the FDA had earlier approved. I say SUE the FDA also for letting the drug be released. What you wanna bet we would see the end of these bad drugs...or at least a big decrease.
If anyone else is brave enough to try it I'd like to know if it works.
