i'm an "oldtimer" but didn't realize how to report abuse so ty boldprint .
i reported our spammer of the day so hopefully he will be off soon.
i had to write down the instructions on how to report, so i am adding this link in hopes it can help us all report this scam/spam/troll or whatever it is that is bringing up all these old posts

It must be the same person who get kicked out yesterday signed up under a different name-they are advertising the same herb doctors as yesterday.

oops, when i clicked the link it came up with my name, but i assume anyone can backspace my name out & add their own.
someone let me know if the link worked for them and others report "jztheherbalist2011" in hopes we can stop it before it goes too far today.

Jarca, your link is much easier than the step-by-step instructions.

When anyone clicks on the link you posted, his/her username shows up automatically, not yours. (I tried it.)

This spammer even has a profile, that says he has the unique ability to help people??

of course "it" has a profile---a person can't post on DS unless they join.
keep reporting the idiot ( i don't like intruders coming in my "home" and messing with stuff)
i'm sure "it" will keep coming on with new profiles until we teach "it" that we don't allow it on our board!!!

And just how do we know that this isn't someone that is legitimately trying to help? I opened the link and saw information that seemed appropriate to the "old discussions" it was attached to.

Weather this person is a misguided good Samaritan, psychotic,or just pure evil I have no way of knowing. However I did find some of the information potentially useful.

Gro100, DS admin believes the guy is not legitimate. His posts -- the exact same posts under a different, but similar username -- were removed by admin last night and his account was closed.

The so called "famous doctors" are chiropractors who peddle supplements.

I'm struggling too gro100. I'd hate like anything to toss out a legitimate member. I missed that jzthe* was selling something. Hopefully I'll be more on top of this type of thing because I hate wasting time on this kind of nonsense.

Well, I do not want to toss a legitimate member or good samaritan, but I followed Jarca's link and reported him as spam. Let the admin figure it out. It is the same message as the last one, just different name and different old posts. One link in his message that I followed yesterday led to a "doctor" in Witchita Falls Texas, with this "Proven" way to heal you of everything, if you would just by her supplements.....If it quacks like a duck, ...........I worked in a prison with "convicts" and they call them con's because they are good at that....like this man..Just my opinion

What is the problem with chiropractors and herbs?

I don't have a problem with chiropractors and herbs at all myself. I have a problem with someone posting the same thing on all threads regardless of what the topic is. Now if the person would have posted it on one thread in context of COPD treatment etc -it could have been a nice discussion. It is also a rule on DS not to advertise businesses directly.
