I was so tired today. I take a pulmonary rehab class and so I went but didn't know if I could do it all. Well, I rode the SciFy bike and did ok. Then I got on the treadmill and my oxygen level went down to 82 and the heart rate jumped up to 120 so they came over to check on me and upped my oxygen from 3 to 6. Within a few minutes my oxygen went up to 92 and the heart rate went down. I was able to finish. And felt better.

I'm so sorry you had such a rough start but glad you were able to finish. When your oxygen gets so low it can really make you very tired and lightheaded.

Pulmo rehab is good for getting those baseline numbers established. Tis far better with support than alone. I'd recommned those numbers make their way back to your doc...

Hello dperk12,
I don't believe I welcomed you to our group!! So welcome, and I know from experience, these folks here have a wealth of information and are always ready to share this info...This is the best group ever!!
My rehab went better than I expected, except I could not finish the treadmill at the high speed he had me work up to.
My O2 kept dropping while I was on the treadmill, and even on the bike it went down to 89, so he had me on 4lpm from then on.
But my knee was really hurting, but I m glad I went.
Missing those days really do a number on me, and it is almost like I had to start over!
He was also concerned because my heart rate kept going higher than he wanted. I do not know why.
But I like your positive attitude about things, and you are not letting this disease bring you down,You are doing a great job, and it will slow down things, which is good.
OK it is past my bedtime, so goodnight all, Tomorrow I will sleep in, like maybe until 8 am? lol

welcome! and ditto what denny said about your dr seeing the numbers. good thing you were at rehab where they knew what to do rather than walmart or somewhere!
and congratulations on finishing!!!
