Hey all,
I'm back home from vacation. We had an AMAZING time!!
I did rent an electric scooter for the week. It was great. I was able to sightsee, and shop, and do everything everyone else did! The friends we were with, were very accommodating, and went to restaurants that didn't have stairs, and had ramps or were one floor, just so I could go in and enjoy without doing a lot of walking.
The only pain, was taking apart the scooter, putting it in the trunk, and driving back to our cottage. Val was getting frustrated, cause the seat just didn't want to pull off when she tried to pull it off, LOL!!
so, the friendly chick that I am, asked any guy that walked by, to help us..and each time she had trouble, we got help!! Hee hee! I have that knack of "persuasion" to ask for help.
Tons of motorcycles at Americade 2013 @ Lake George, NY. I have lots of pictures, and t-shirts and a few cheap rings that we bought for fun. Got some food, and kept it in our mini fridge at our cottage, to save money on going out to eat.
But, we did go and have fun and did a lot. Didn't go on the boat cruise, and Val didn't go para-sailing. The weather was good the 1st 2 days, then it rained for 2 days. But we got free rain ponchos from GEICO, and cruised around wearing those. wELL, I WORE MINE, HEE HEE!
I HAD A BLAST!!!
Hard to say goodbye to Val, that was the longest time we have spent together..6 days, and we didn't kill each other!
I felt healthy, tired out...but a good tired.
Glad to be home. My cat Jackson, missed his MOMMY!
