My surgery isn't until Oct 29th. I see the NP next week , and at that appointment she will tell me if we can do the pre op tests, as long as she knows i'm following the plan and losing weight, I should be good to go!
And yes Terry...you can have all of my dessert portions...Grannie, I can't have ANY carbs on this partial liquid diet..just protein shakes, lean protein, and veggies.

I'm not giving up a body part, but it's been a challenge. But not that bad actually!!
Val and I went to Appleby's last night. I had the Napa Grilled chicken breast with portabella mushrooms, zucchini, and onions, and potatoes. I put those potatoes away from me!! Didn't touch one! Val said that's ok, they had no seasoning, no nothing!!! LOL!!
So, had my chicken, 5 ounces, cut 2 ounces off it, cause it was 7 ounces, and on the "Weight Watcher-550 calorie menu"....Ate my veggies, and it was delicious!!
I love portabella mushrooms, I roast them all of the time with onions, and zucchini etc...at home.
Filled me up big time, and got a chance to go out to dinner!
This morning, Val put ribs and Baby Ray's barbeque sauce in the crockpot, and sent me home with a small container for dinner.
OMG!!!!! She shredded it, and I had that for dinner with a nice spinach salad with tons of veggies. SCRUMPTIOUS!!!!
