Well, I'm not using oxygen yet, however, I'm paying close attention to the information given here all the time concerning it. I have to steer clear of anything spring loaded, it just pisses me off is all, I have no idea what the paint thing is all about Dog, but, a flashing "Full" sign might be the ticket for the last one, unless maybe one could afford a young maid to maybe just fill the damned thing for ya.

dog, while you're making that list of things you'd like to see on the oxy machines and tanks...please add a dial to change it higher and lower that is near the person! it's on the compressor, so you have get all the way over to it, just to turn it up or down. it would be so nice to be able to change the number from where ever you are.

They do a regulator that attaches to you cannula that you can increase or decrease your oxygen level. I have one.

nellie, the adjuster part is close to the canula? where did you get it? what do you keep your concentrate set to? this is great!

Say Nellie I'd like to know about this item too. I can never undeerstand why the little things that would make such a diffrence for ushaven't been invented by some brainy soul. they'd make millions.
Doh my oxy supplier suggested buying a tubing insulation thats used on a hot water heater, I have no idea what he means but maybe you do, to keep our tubing straighter. IHe siad it would need to be cut in a few places so it could at least go around corners. Make sense???

You attach it to your cannula and it makes it easier to turn your oxygen either up or down depending onwhat you need. I always have mine at 2 liters but if I start doing a little more than usual I can turn it up to 3
liters without going to the concentrator. It has worked out great for me. Saves alot of steps.

Hey dogman, I just started with this oxygen thing.
Let me tell you, YOUR right, this long and mind is 50ft tubbing
is hard to live with for sure!
I live in a two story house and it isn't no party going up n down those stairs either!
My husband put hooks down stairs and up stairs at the top so I hang the tub on it so no one steps on the tub while climbing up or down the stairs.

As far as something to round it up or out.....I been thinking just like you dogman, there got to be something we can use

About making it easier to see that gage....I'm with you all the way on that one too dogman.
think someone said something about colors I hope they said very large print would be nice and user friendly too.
Yeah easier to turn off and on I want to add.
When you got Arthrist to booth it can be hard to turn it off or on.

I have other beefs about the portables // but my husband is helping me by looking into owning. But so far it isn't something we can afford now.
And one you fill yourself is a great idea we are also looking into that too.

HI All. I spent several hours with a good friend of mine and we discussed how it might be possible to build a retractable oxygen hose unit. It turns out ir is very practical with the ideas he presented. This friend is super practical and knowledgeable. When he says something is possible, its possible. He is going to work on some drawings to see just what we would need. The one flaw so far might be the insurance fact Particularly with medical stuff. I'll keep you posted on our progress

My supplier loves me. I keep him in business.
so much good info here I don;t know where to start.
I get my portable Helious from my supplier and the liquid oxy tank to fill it all covered my Medicare. I think someone asked about this on another group. Oh, well.
I have to check out Nellie's regulator. what a wondeerful thing.
