PS. living in Indiana probably doesn't help, but its home!!
I would be feeling a jot better if we had some positive news about Paula (drinkcoffee)
I am in Virginia and it's been hot and humid in the 90's yesterday, for the last week I can't seem to breathe. PLB constantly. It sure does help a lot. I did a neb treatment this morning and am feeling better and its a little cooler here today. I went with a friend yesterday and was out in the heat all day. Didn't help at all. Couldn't even talk last night. Today is better. Just take one day a time. Silfoxx I know what you mean about Paula she has been in my thoughts and prayers and just hope we will hear from her soon. Boo you need to focus on getting more sleep. I know it's hard, do you take naps during the day?
Hugs,
Debi
Quiet, lonely Sunday but I am going to the store soon just to pick up some staples since we are supposed to have thunderstorms for the next two days.
It's hot and humid here but I won't be out that long. I always need to be reminded of pursed mouth breathing and doing it now!
Hope you have a good day!!! Love, Cindy
hot up to 90/100, then cold in the 50's one day, up to the 70's the next, today is 80.....and the wind for a few days was horrid. but seems to calm for now.
no tornado's in my neck of the woods (i'd be scared to death to live where there were tornados)
my O2 numbers are doing good. allergies are icky tho. i try to get out on the nice days and get a few things done that are within my "neck limits",
windy, yucky days i'm trying to get things done in house----purging all the crap i've collected over 20 years here LOL
still have pain, but have decided i have to get up and do things or my muscles will "atrophy" (word of the day LOL)
loving getting out & going to physical therapy & working legs on machine while practicing pursed lip breathing----makes me feel like i'm accomplishing something.
i found a handyman to put in my a/c and do other things i was worrying about. he does lovely work & is affordable so i feel so much better that way.
so in a LONG nutshell; i'm doing rather well lately & looking forward to summer.
when i was 1st dx with this, my son in law got me that movie--- and that's what made me decide to make a bucket list and live the best i can for however long i can---great movie!!!!
HOW ARE YOU DOING????
BUT....we must go on, and I try to just get people talking about how they are feeling, and reading and listening to others, and keeping busy to keep my mind off wondering where DC and LadyLungs are, and whoever else is missing online at this time.
Like Jarca said, it may be something else..Maybe they are in the hospital, maybe their computer busted, who knows. Waiting is not one of my best qualities/patience...whatever..I hear ya buddy!!

I'm feeling pretty good lately. My O2 has been good since I've been off the oxygen during the day. I am still using it at night, and i'm doing fine so far.
The sleeping? That's another topic, but don't feel like going into that right now. Another time...but not good sleeping lately.
Hugs,
Boo
Last 2 days my breathing has been terrible together with this constant burning feeling across chest n now into back area as well. My x-ray pointed out fibrosis of right upper n lower lobe plus calcified aorta...tomorrow if I feel able I will make the long journey downtown to see pulmo...
Its 2 months now of high 90's n low 80's with humidity in the 80% so staying indoors is the only option...
Do miss Paula sending me her lovely poems each month....I pray she is just recovering somewhere....

Bill, I appreciate the vote of confidence, and no, I will never gove up on anything I set out to do, until i breath my last. That transplant is just another part of this. I am so sad for Paula, and pray she gets better soon and we know what is going on, same with ladylungs, and curt, and the others.
Glad all my DS family have my back, I do so appreciate all the words of encouragemnt. Now to get out of the dolldrums and get back to exercising...
Breath easy my friends

IT's nice to know, and gives us kind of a peace of mind about people we wonder about if they DON"T log in.
oldcropsm....I lived for a short time in Greenwood, IN....are you near there? That is about 25 minutes south of Indy People are SO friendly in Indiana...that's for sure! I know it's muggy & hot there in the summer!! I was there in the summer about 3 years ago, and we had 90 degrees and hot hot hot!!!...almost every day for the 3 months I lived there! Hang in there!

I have no idea what got into me last night, but I decided to start cleaning out my refrigerator. I had a Shark steam cleaner that I had never used, so I thought this would be a good opportunity to try it. Ha! It didn't work great for me, and I actually preferred just pulling out the racks and cleaning them with warm, sudsy water. I cleaned out lots of yucky containers that had been pushed to the back of the frig, but one was so old and so bad that I just tossed it. I'll buy a new one! Anyway, I only got one rack totally clean before I started panting and getting SOB, so I'll do another one when I get home tonight. It makes me feel like I really accomplished something! I almost forgot what that felt like!
