What is the best home oxygen concentrator, guess I am looking for quite, efficient and portable. Also, what is the best portable oxygen concentrator? I do like to be on-the-go and would like to remain as mobile as possible.

I had a Respironics Evergo for about a year and a half. I finally went back to tanks when the pulse demand system couldn't keep up with my increased O2 requirements. While I was on 2LPM it worked well and would last 7-8 hous per charge...

There are a lot of good concentrators out there. It all depends on if you need continous flow, pulse dose, or both.
The smaller lighter ones are mostly pulse dose, so you could not use them for sleep, but I have seen some members say now they make a small (5-10) pounds that does both.
You also need to consider battery life, if you are on the go a lot, and most have good batteries and different battery life.
Now that I have not answered any of your questions, let me say I am partial to Sequal. I have a portable that I have taken all the way to Australia, and to all my appointments here , and I also use it for sleep.
But it is not light, maybe 20-25 pounds, has a holder with wheels, like a suitcase,(I think all portables do) can run off dc power with your cars cig lighter, has a battery life of about 5 hours pulse dose, or 4 hours continous flow, is faa approved, and I love it!!
Sometime if I am feeling puny, I will take my rollator with a canister of o2 to doctor meeting, because the canister is lighter to handle, but I prefer the concentrator, and I can take the power cord with me and if the appointment is running long, find an outlet, plug it in, and keep getting my 02, as the battery re charges.
I am sure others will tell your their favorites and why, so you will have a lot to choose from, and prices differ from one med supply to another, so do a through search and compare!!
You might even ask your doctor his opinion, since you have to have a prescription to get one usually.
