Hi All,
Ok, my gastric bypass surgery is Tuesday at 745am.
I am fighting a cold!! A little cough, not bad, and not coughing any infection colored phlegm.
I'm going to touch base with my Dr. tomorrow. I've been drinking orange juice, resting, and took Echinacea today.
I feel ok, just tired. he will determine whether we will go thru with it for sure. I think I'm ok.
So, if you don't hear from me, that's where I will be, and I gave Val my sign in for this board, if I can't sign in , a few days after surgery. I'm sure I will though!!
wish me luck,and say a prayer for me, that I pull thru ok without any complications or infections.
This surgery will give me my life back, after 6 years, of not being able to walk well, health issues, and I know my breathing will get better too!!
I did stop smoking, so that is behind me!! Feel better too!!

Prayed that you have surgry tommorow if it be Gods will. Heres to and a quick recovery also
. Wonderful new that you have quit smoking. Give you self a hug, you deserve it. Do belive you are correct. You will feel so much better and have so many postive things to look forward to. Stay postive

Congrats on the not smoking, hope you continue to stay quit after surgery. Smoking will age you and ruin your health at a slow agonizing pace.
Dr's office said I'm ok to go in. Just have to let the Anetheseologist know that I have a cold.
Had my "last meal", and ate part of a calzone today, but shared it with my home health aide!! LOL!! IT tasted good!!! No more fried foods for me!!!
I will be in the hospital for 2 days..so if I don't log in from my cell phone, I will on THursday, when I get home.
