For those folks that use a nebulizer, I wanted to share a handheld nebulizer that I got a couple of years ago. It uses two AA batteries. It is great traveling. I just love the thing!
I even use it in place of my emergency inhalers. In the long run it has saved me money.

when i was put on nebulizer, i got mine from the 02 company i use & they gave me the choice of the hand held or a bigger thing.
i chose the hand held & i love it.
mine is a tad different that it can work plugged in to the wall or with batteries so at home i plug into the wall.
humurouss note; when i asked the lady if it could plug into the car cigarette lighter when traveling, she very nicely told me NEVER to use it driving as i could (and do) get lightheaded or shaky after use---another jarca DUH moment LOL
of course on my statements from medicare what they charge & what "medicare accepts" is hugely different, but after medicare mine costs me around $3 a month....and i guess it's like medicare "renting" my concentrator from the company medicare "rents" rents it for so many months & then i own it.
but just wanted to let those that have medicare know it is available for medicare to pay help you pay for.
i don't know how other insurances might work for you.
of course that's just the machine; not the medicine to go in it.
My husband has used this handheld nebulizer for several years and he never goes anywhere (even in the house) without it. Like you he is so glad he got it and it has more than paid for itself. As an additional recommendation we bought the rechargeable type batteries to use in it so that saves money as well.
the others may have cheaper if they bought their own instead of thru medicare.

That's a great little thing there, but like others I got my nebulizer from the company that provides the rest of my oxygen needs, and it is so small I just throw it in the suitcase and I am gone. But having something like this as a backup makes sense. Take care, Bill
