I went to the doctor. He gave me a cat scan and said I do have some sinus problems, but it wasn't as bad on xray as he thought it would be (from the way I was talking). He put me on Amoxicillan, Mucinex and a nasal spray for 10 days. He said if it doesn't work to come back again, so I'm guessing he really doesn't know what it is and is hoping the antibiotic will knock it out. I'll keep you guys posted and let you know if it works. Here's hoping!
My hubby used to get bad sinus headaches............someone told us to put cotton swabs coated with Vicks in each ear........he says it helped???............You might try that.................
Also.....his teeth were bad and once he had them pulled the headaches went away.............
God bless
It's my third day on Amoxycillan, and I'm starting to gradually feel better. My forehead still hurts when I cough, but not as much, and above my eyes (and behind them) doesn't feel as swollen and painful either. I have to be on this stuff for 10 days, so I'm hoping each day will be better than the previous. Thank you for all your comments and concern. You're the best!
Hugs,
Jean
