I love love love "Words with Friends" from the App Store. Always good to wind down.

I was my Mom's primary care giver for 10 years. She passed away at age 95 in 2013. My SOB started in 2012. Now, I go to water aerobics 3 times a week. Some of the ladies there invited me to join a Card Club. They taught me to play Hand and Foot. We meet monthly. On good days, I can do yard work as long as I don't over do it. And there are always computer games. It's better to stay as active as possible for as long as we are able!

i paint my weeds blue. (anyway thats what i did yesterday) :)
today i went out for lunch with my daughter.
that was nice to get out & the food was good at our lil cafe in town.
i used to play online games but i got bored with them
during the nice weather i like to "piddle around" out side as often as i can, but with winter coming it would be nice to get some new ideas
last winter i started embroidering, but my eyesight has gotten so bad i get headaches with close work like that.

Good topic, especially with winter coming and I may be down south but I actually had to turn the heat on today. Should be nicer this weekend.

To relax , during moments of tension, I play a few rounds of Free Cell Solitaire online. I always have a book going. Love historical novels and just finished Phillippa Gregory's latest, The King's Curse, which was excellent.

I enjoy scrabble but don't have anyone who wants to play it with me.
Maybe I can find that online too?

Words With Friends is kinda like Scrabble. I play with my sons so at least we're in touch that way.

I am with Bacon Seed. What's an i-pad? My Win 8 computers are just fine along with my Win 7's and and Linux laptop and netbook and my android tablet. Don't need no expensive apple stuff!

Believe it or not I sit down and sew quilts. I have found sewing takes my mind off the pain. Computer and I don't get along to well, that's why I don't post much. Spelling is backwards for me. :)

Jeez, you actually produce something useful? That's great! Beats games hands down.i have a friend who built a whole big room on their house just for quilting. We have a show here but Houston has a big one. Do you ever show yours?

I take classes at FutureLearn, an online university group out of the UK mostly. I have taken courses on Forensic Psychology & Climate Change. Right now I am taking a course on the Science of Medicine which explains how different meds work in our bodies (a bit heavy on the chemistry but I am managing to cope) as well as Psychology: Nature or Nurture where we are looking at what influences our brains so we end up the way we are. I love taking course & they are free!
I also play computer games. The game I am playing now is called Klondike, The Lost Expedition. It is a questing type game where you go explore different lands & complete tasks to get ahead. I used to play Words with Friends a lot but got bored with it. I also play Mahjong on my computer.
I definitely always have a book going. Was it you j.h. who said you like to read historical books? May I recommend The Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon. They have actually started airing this as a TV show it is so popular.

I'm assuming Forensic Psychology and Climate Change are two different courses.? Altho I audited a course in Cultural Anthropology and Psychology team taught by two profs. Do you live in the UK?

Yes, Climate Change & Forensic Psychology are separate courses. Actually, I have taken 2 Forensic Psychology courses - Forensic Psychology: Witnesses where we were able to see how accurate or inaccurate eye witness testimony can be & Forensic Psychology: Trace Evidence where we learned about DNA, fingerprints, etc. Since I am a writer, these types of courses are very interesting to me to help me with my research.
