Yes Digitinc, I am am ok. I finished my radiation and so far so good. Jost waiting for the 24th to get my ICD back in. Thank you for asking

Important post Linda, my oldest dearest friend is now in the final radiation stages of treating her breast cancer, She is looking excellent as a breast cancer survivor but it's been quite the ordeal. She has grown, has a much stronger sense of what she wants to do with the remainder of her life.Huge post and I thank you for putting i t out there

Yes Mama is right, keep checking yourself, the worse thing you can do is ignore it. Medicine today is a miracle and there are many many survivors.

It is important to keep it light maybe even a little silly when you are dealing with such serious issues. Never loose focus but your mind will help heal your body and soul.
Yes it is a lot of hard work to beat cancer but I met so many that were not in as good as shape as I am. Tears comes to my eyes as I thank God for my blessings.

check my boobs uauaslly in the shower...and am due for the "big squeese" :( mammogram this month...and yes Marg... I know what you mean bout how hard it was not too make a joke !!! but it's still running thru my mind :)....lost several few good people in my life to cancer....we just never know...so I would rather joke about it all..thats what gets me thru at times.

Thank you Janet.....Self check is very important however, my lump was in a place where I or a doctor could not feel it. Mammo's are life savers I am living proof and many many like me.

I found out that when you are getting your mammogram just be sure that the tech does not include any of your chest wall skin in the compressor. That is what makes it hurt. If she does tell her about it and she will re adjust. It will not be so uncomfortable that way....

where I have my mammo's done now never hurt !! but a few years ago I had a couple that almost made me scream lol....every year I have a mammo... I have to laugh because with all the other issues I have I make sure my boobs are ok....lol...or shoud we say Chee Chees :)
