Are face masks any good? It is wish to ride a motor bike when you suffer from COPD (mine is mild at the moment)? The traffic pollution where I livee is terrible.

Yes do use one if you can breathe through it ok, probably the best one to filter traffic pollution will be expensive but its worth it to help save your lungs.

Respro pollution mask with full filters would be a good one this is top of the range:

The vogmask has some protection but wouldn't be as protective as the Respro mask.

Maybe if you go a a motorcycle accessory shop they will be able to advise you on masks also.

The main thing is you need to be able to breathe through it and at the same time it will protect your lungs from traffic pollutions.
