I find it helps to use the rescue inhailer before I do something I know will result needing the rescue inhailer... An example for me would be, in our driveway there are about 12 steps up to a landing and then another 6 steps up to the deck and door. If I use my rescue inhailer before I begin the steps, then I can reach the top with out too much trouble as long as I remember my proper breathing along the way and remember to carry packages close to the body. Anyone else with a tip that might help someone?

If you're on Advair, gargle a mixture of vinegar and water (1/4 cup to 16 oz) to avoid developing thrush.

I stretch my new 50 ft hose between a couple of fence posts and let it bake in the sun for a day before I use it. That gets rid of those memory coils that cause so many twists and kinks. Also gets rid of the new latex odor which gives me a headache. BTW, put a small piece of tape over each hose end, so nothing can crawl into the hose while it's curing.

Iv'e brought this one up before but will post again, I find it very helpful in the evening or really at any time, a teaspoon of Eucalyptus oil in a mug of very hot water, and inhale thru the nose

My Dad swore by drinking Aloe juice, that it was helping his Emphy.
He made me gag some down. I did not have Emphy at the time, so
maybe I missed how well it worked? LOL

Aloe inside gel is quite good for sour stomachs.
But DON'T eat the dark green outter skin or you
will very quickly experience nature's own Ex-Lax.
