Hi everyone! This will be the third post I have made. I have been looking at this site for over a year and decided to start participating in the conversations. Having sever Bulbus emphysema my Dr at the time six years ago looked at the huge holes in my lungs on the xray then handed me a polst and told me to get my will filled out. I changed Dr.s then became much worse from inhalers and bp meds. Anyway to make a long story short I listened to God and went and got another opinion and now am off all meds except rescue inhaler when needed and BP med when needed and oxygen at night. For years I felt sick because of meds and bought into the diagnosis that I was dying so I didn't try very hard to exercise or change my diet. 10 days ago I saw this video of this amazing woman https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=na6yl8yIZUI and got off my butt and joined a gym I am absolutly amazed how better I feel. Although I have an exercise bike here in my front room I couldn't get motivated to use it regularly. Going to the gym with all the different machines to work out with made the difference for me along with being around other woman working out. I was rather surprised to see that the majority of people there are as old or older than me. I am 56. I also have done a lot of research on diet for people with copd and knowing that sugar causes inflamation I stopped eating cookies etc and large amounts of cheese, both which cause mucus build up also. I still have some pain in my lungs and pain in my neck which the Drs have not diagnosed yet, possible pancoast tumor I was told or pulmonary hypertension but they have been hesitant to do more testing because of my extreme sensitivity to drugs. Anyway if I am to die soon I want to go out looking Good! ha ha God Bless everyone.

A good bike kit is from Amped Bikes in CA. I bought one and have used it for about 3 years on a Schwinn 3 wheel with no problems.
The batteries should be replaced every two years for reliability. I would avoid any kit with litthium batteries. They are expensive as all heck.
The standard batteries cost around 20.00 each and the Amped bike kit comes with 3 12 volt.
