In addition there is evidence that e-cigs can also damage the lungs. It depends I think if (non oxygen users) use them just to stop smoking and then stop using e cigs, but if the e cigs are used ongoing in place of a cigarette month after month, year after year, then their is a much higher risk of lung damage, that is how I understand it.

I believe there is an FDA document about ecig toxins also.
The biggest issue is with those that use the e-cig as a hobby....They attach all manner of mods similar to hotting up a standard car....
I do agree however that the smoking addiction can pass itself on to the e-cig esp. if one may have an addictive personality and use it more as a replacement rather than a ''have to''
