Daylight Savings Time

During Daylight Saving Time, clocks are turned forward an hour, effectively moving an hour of daylight from the morning to the evening. In the United States, Daylight Saving Time began on Sunday, March 8 and will revert to Standard Time on Sunday, November 1. These changes always take place at 2:00 a.m. local time.

I was thinking the same thing as Ohana. A good way to remember which way to turn the clock hands.

Actually we are now in Daylight Savings Time. November 1st Daylight Savings Time ends. We set our clocks back an hour and lose an hour of daylight at night. We also pick up an extra hour of sleep. Most church goers end up in Church an hour early. But thanks for the reminder. I would have forgotten again like I did last March. Guess that comes with age. Forgetting that is. I think. What where we talking about?

Thanks for keeping me on track, lol!!! We've been wondering when the "change" was occuring, hadn't heard anything in the news as of yet...

I'd better get busy stacking my leaves to "fall back" on...

p.s. Oh, and Happy, us "mature" women tend not to be able to take advantage of the extra hour of sleep, lol....

Oh btw, if you have an older Windows version on your computer, say XP or earlier, your computer's clock has already changed. That's becasue they were developed when we had the old regulations, back when we changed on the 4th Sun in Oct. But never fear, in a week, your computer will match up with your other clocks.

Always A rough time, trying to convience the cows it's not time to be milked yet. they stand at the door and mow. I even put a bigger clock up for them. ya think Obama would grant a re training program.
