Went in today because SOB. I am now taking tests for congestive heart failure. My meds, advair. Ventolin and Spiriva do not seem to be doing anything at all. I had blood tests today, tomorrow xrays. Hopefully they will figure it out.

Good news and bad news. The blood tests did not show any congestive heart failure either. Bad news is, back to the drawing board and try to figure out what the cause is.

Well, thank the good Lord for the good results. Now maybe they can narrow it down and find the cause . I hope so Terry. You remain in my thoughts and prayers.

Still no solution to my SOB problem so next week I go in for a PFT test. Hopefully something will come out of that.

I put this in one of Boo's thread but thought later that it probably was not the right place to put it.

Tomorrow I go in for my first PFT test. Since I have already been told that I can't have coffee or any of my inhalers, I already have a huge dislike for this test. It's supposed to take an hour and I doubt if there is any fun associated with it.

I don't have a Pulmonologist but maybe the test will tell me if I need one or not.

There may be anothet problem to add to COPD. I am seeing a Urologist next week for a possible prostate problem and probably a biopsy. Will know more after that.
