My son has been sick the past week with a cold, and it finally caught up with me. Right now, it's in the nose and throat. Not severe yet, just irritating. It's been kind of cold here too, so the weather isn't helping. I'm supposed to leave for Myrtle Beach on Saturday for my birthday (on Tuesday), and will return on Wednesday. I have a timeshare down there and wanted to have a nice, quiet getaway. Sure wasn't planning on doing it sick, but I'm going! I can be sick there as much as I can here, right? It's only 1-1/2 hour away, so if I get too sick, I can head back on home.

This is my first vacation in a while, so I don't want to miss it! Please keep me in your prayers that I can enjoy my brief time there!

Higgs.........stop it dead in its tracks!!!!!!!!!!!!! Orange juice, honey, chicken noodle soup, alka sletzer plus......whatever it takes. This will NOT take over and get the best of you!! NOPE.......won't happen!!!!!!!!!!

You must live near me then. The weather in Myrtle is supposed to be cool, sunny and just a chance of rain next week, with warmer weather as the week goes on and I will be praying that you are enjoying every minute of it.

Just a change of scenery helps me feel better.

Knock that cold out as fast as you can with everything you have got.
