some of you may have heard that DMSO can be used in a nebulizer
to help clean the tar and nicotine built up on the lungs.
I have not read anywhere that someone has actually used it and had any success or illness from it. in fact I haven't heard from anyone who has tried it except me.
I did not use it much as I was a little worried about in hailing a solvent.
So I asked DR Hensel on NBC news and he wrote me back and said he will call me and record the Q and A for the news.
I will keep you all informed when I find out.

I will see if I can find more about it, but I personally do not believe it. if it was so easy all we had to do is clean our lungs of tar and nicotine every so often, no one would be sick and most would still be smoking.
But I have been wrong,,,so just be careful...

I'll echo Brenda - be very careful. The tar and contaminants will work their way out of your lungs after a bit on their own...
