Hello all & happy Sunday,
I have just ended my first 2 weeks on Arcapta. No major side effects & am now feeling a difference. For the good, but can't really define it yet?? I am pleased with this new med, but as far as my breathing, it feels better, especially in the afternoon, but will have to wait for another breathing test to know. That will be in July sometime. I am taking my Spiriva with it also. There are several drugs you shouldn't use with it. Anything with formoterol in it or advair. Also if you have any asthma component you shouldn't take it or heart problems :>))

You are fortunate that you have a forward thinking doctor that will know the new meds as soon as they hit the market.

I, too, take Sprivia, along with Symbicort - but with my asthma I guess that rules me out for Arcapta.
It will be really interesting to see how your PFT comes out in July...hope shows an improvement. Thanks for keeping us posted.
