angry about the nitwit that gave me a cold

I was doing soooo good for the past year. I was exercising and feeling pretty good. Then about 3 weeks ago I was in a restaurant where the person in the booth in front of me was coughing and not covering his mouth. Two days latter I had a cold . The day after that I had the worst exsaerbation I've ever had. I really thought I wouldn't make it. . People need to stay home when they are sick like that. I'm doing better now but am very frustrated because I lost so much in these few weeks. I tried to work out but I don't have the air yeat. GRRRRRRR!

At the hospital registration department today. A lady near me was hacking like crazy. I moved away from her. Heard her make a call and tell them that she was waiting for an xray for her lungs. Great, I wonder what was wrong with her? That's when I got up walked completely away from that area.

Just a note . Went to the Gym today did the "Silver Sneakers" routine and didn't get to winded. Did so well I did the rest of my "machine" routine, Feeling better but not back all the way yet.

Corler, good for you. Don't you feel so much better when you actually get a move on?

Serenity, the 2nd thing the RT told me was never never do buffet style dining that the food is not behind glass, such as a cafeteria. No self serve.

Just today-----the grocery store clerk was sneezing, coughing, wiping on his sleeves; rubbing his nose with hands-------THEN hands me my change. I wanted to scream. Any cold, virus, sinus infection, flu-----can cause an exacerbation and kill me. I am end stage. I do not have much lung function left. And, every time I get sick; it travels to my weakest body part-----my lungs.
Does anyone practice healthy habits anymore? Use Kleenex. Carry hand cleaner that water is not needed. Stay home when ill. Avoid spreading your germs to others?
