Both my wife and I use ADC for long term medications. We've never had a problem. You do have to plan ahead, as the processing/customs time can be 2-3 weeks. We buy 6-9 months at a time...

I have been buying Spiriva, Symbicort, Ventolin and other generics from ADC for over 3 years. They work exactly the same as the brand name drugs here in the US. Both my primary care doctor and pulmonologist know I get my meds from ADC and they are fine with it. (If the COPD meds from ADC didn't work, we would know it.)

I first heard about ADC on another COPD forum (COPD International) where ADC was highly recommended by several people. ADC has been in business for several years.

Like Denny, I buy 6 months' worth at a time. There is a flat rate $25 shipping fee.

I don't use my rescue inhaler much, so I always request a one year expiry date for Ventolin. (You have to request expiry dates longer than 6 months.)

I usually receive my meds within 2-3 weeks. However, my last order got stuck in customs for 3 weeks, so it took a full month to receive the shipment.

Unfortunately, ADC has a history of thieves hacking their customers' credit cards. I strongly recommend you use a money order or a fraud proof virtual credit card number. I use virtual credit cards for all my online purchases. They're great!

I've been using them for a year now and am completely satisfied with ADC and their meds. I get 6 months worth at a time at a considerable savings over what it was costing me at my local pharmacy using my insurance.

I've been getting my inhalers from adc for over 3 years & have never had a problem --- I have noticed they changed their we site recently & prices on a few things went up a quarter-- no big deal!!!!!

I've used them for a while now and I have always been completely happy with them. Everything I have gotten has been as effective as my domestic meds, and with some of them there is an even wider variety of options- if you prefer an inhaler over the capsule handihaler types, you can do that. If vice versa, you can get Symbicort capsule type. As others have stated, you have to plan ahead further than you would a stateside mail order, but they guarantee delivery so while it may take longer, it will get to you.

I have had no problem with credit card info being stolen from them, and I don't think it's really likely to be traceable to them and more likely just a time coincidence. Given the fact that I've had credit card issues following an order from a US chain and another paying for groceries, I think it's just a fluke as a large number of these credit card thefts are based on random number generators which then "ping" through small purchases to see which are active accounts.

They've kept me out of the poor house.

I wish my luck with them had been as good as everyone else. I placed an order online and for some reason it was declined. The next day my Visa card showed a charge of over $500 by some travel agency overseas. I think if I place another order I will use a money order even if it means a longer wait time. I had to cancel my credit card and get a new one.

I'm glad everyone else has had good luck but I sure didn't.

What in the world is ADC? I use both Advair and Spiriva and could really use a resource for a less expensive pharmacy. I tried googling ADC but found so many different responses. Is ADC located overseas? Will look forward to hearing from you, thank you,

Ann - Welcome! So nice to see a new face.

ADC is All Day Chemist, located in India. They sell generic Advair and Spiriva but they do charge a pretty high shipping fee, I think 25$, which is why it's wise to order several months of meds at one time.
But even with that high shipping, I'm able to get 6 months worth for less than I could get 2 months worth at my local pharmacy. If you have any questions I can help with, please feel free to message me.

ADC is AllDayChemist.com located in Delhi, India. I live in NW Washington and my orders have been taking a day or two around 2 weeks. Shipping is a flat rate $25., but orders over $100. are $15. I've been using their Echeck payment system and it seems very secure. Look up Echeck.com They call back within 45 min to verify the charge/payment!.

TerryDavid, three years ago I also had my credit card hacked after using it at ADC. It was a new card that had only been used at ADC. A couple of years ago ADC acknowledged on their facebook page problems with their customers' credit cards being hacked and they were working on their security.

However, in the last year or so I haven't seen complaints about hacking, so maybe they've fixed the security issue.

As I said, I use virtual credit card numbers for all my online purchases now and I love it.

Ok, I have 2 questions...One is for Gary...

gary- why are you losing insurance for 2 years? If you don't want to answer, then don't.

2) Do any of you have Medicare? I have Medicare, and because I am lower income, I get "EXTRA HELP", from Social Security. It's a plan to sign up for, that's free, thru Social Security, that allows you a discount on your prescriptions, and is run thru your Medicare automatically, when paying for your prescriptions.

That, along with having Medicaid as my 2nd ins, I pay nothing for almost all of my scripts!!!

Just thought I'd throw that in there, in case some of you on Social Security, may not know about EXTRA HELP. You can contact Social Security, to find out if you qualify.

Boo: the reason I am in insurance limbo is because I was approved for disability within 2-1/2 months of applying for it. There is a 5 month wait between when you are approved and the time you collect your first SSDI payment. In the meantime I qualified for SSI and Medicaid. Now that I am receiving my SSDI I no longer qualify for SSI or Medicaid. If you are not of retirement age you have to wait two years on SSDI before you qualify for Medicare.

I didn't do COBRA from my last job because I didn't think I would need it (plus it cost too much). Any insurance I can buy now doesn't cover s**t.

My only two health concerns are my COPD meds, and my oxygen. between ADC for my drugs, and oxmedical for giving me good deals on the purchase of my oxygen equipment I believe I have covered all bases.

As far as oxygen is concerned, The best I could do In my area was $175.00 a month for a home concentrator, $50.00 a month for a regulator, and $15.00 to refill each tank ( I go thru 30 m6 tanks every two weeks). That is the price for paying cash with no insurance, don't ask me why.

For $2400.00 I got a used (less than 500 hours + still under warranty) home fill system. It includes a concentrator, a compressor (for filling bottles), a regulator, and two bottles of my choice. This thing will pay for itself in less than a year. The other benefit of this system is it fills bottles to 3000 psi, so they last 40% longer than the ones I got from my o2 supplier,
