Pat, I'm so sorry for your heartbreak.

Pat, I have a 15 yr old dog that I thought I was going to need to put down last week. I can really emphasize with your pain and feeling of loss. So sorry......big warm hug.

I can sympathize. I lost my sweetie, Jericho, last August 18th. He was 15 years old, and had been with me since he was a baby kitten. I now have 2 new kitties. They can never replace my Jericho, but they make me laugh and are very affectionate. The house would be way too empty without them.

Time is the only thing that will lessen your heartache a little. If you want a shoulder, just message me and I'll be happy to help you through it.

my deepest condolences. We have a mini wiener dog and a bichon shitzu that are 10 years old. We do worry about when the time somes that we have to face your heart ache. Our natural born children are already arguing over who gets our dogs when we pass on!

It is sad when we loose a friend.
I have a dog that is a golden retriever and husky mix.
When he was born I had to massage him to keep his heart beating.
out of four dogs he has been my buddy.

He stays by my side all the time and we have grown old together,
I know I will be sad when his time comes.

i am so sorry for your loss. our pets are our friends, children, companions and confidants. some don't understand that and i feel sorry for them.
13 years of love will give you wonderful memories.
i too am looking at having to put a very special dog down this spring when the ground thaws. (i guess god is getting me ready now as i'm watching her fade, become in pain & thyroid & liver are only controled by very expensive pills) i hate the thought of it.

This makes me so sad, I've been there and our fur babies are our kids. I had a book made with pictures, but will never forget. I got daily hugs from my cat anytime I called him and miss that. My new kitty is sweet too, but I will never forget my Luther, he was the best cat ever.
