Hello everyone, It has been a while since I have posted but I have been checking in daily. Since I have last posted a few things have changed. I did buy me a pulse oximeter which took care of my panic attacks. Its amazing how that little device can keep me calm. I also was on symbicort 160/4.5 and it was working as far as I could tell. Found out I had costochondritis which it helped with that also. I even started putting on weight finally as I have always weighed around 90 lbs. I was also going through early menopause and wow, no hot flashed or nothing but I was having mood swings and they got pretty bad and with an eight year old daughter, not good. My doc decided to decrease the symbicort to the 80/4.5 and BOOM!, my body went crazy! The costochondritis pain got worse, was having signs of fibromyalga, mood swings became fits of rage, my occasional headaches became constant with extreme sinus pressure and pain, cramps in my legs and feet and twitching in my hands and thumbs. After two weeks my doc said stop taking it and now I am on just the spiriva. I now feel normal. Oh, and it turns out most of the weight gain was me just being swollen. It was horrible. I had no idea that all of this was the symbicort. I never put two and two together. It had also taken my energy and motivation, but now I'm back to my exercise routine feeling great. Just the occasional heaviness in the breathing with the weather change and rain storms. Sorry so long but just had to get that out there in case someone found it useful.
