In my case; heart tachycardia and irregular heart rhythm are related to my emphysema. My high blood pressure is also related. I was
98/62----now I read 170/110 and rarely is my blood pressure near
normal; which is 120/80. I am having many more tests performed, now, as my disease has progressed for 12 years and I am in the Very Severe Category. Lack of oxygen; due to low
lung function; can cause many co-morbid problems.
