Please mention my son, Chris, in your prayers. He's a long distance truck driver and is now driving through the horrible weather that is engulfing most of the US. This is his first winter as a truck driver, and I'm really worried for him. Thank you!

Thoughts are out there with our 18 wheeler friend 10-04 good buddy There's a truck driver song called "roll on highway - roll on along - roll on family till he gets back home". Spouse was a long haul driver for first 11 years then a riverboat captain so I do understand the worry that goes with this job for the family. - Ruthie (aka dollaraudit)

prayers are with him & all those that have to be out in this horrid weather.
we are finally getting sunshine today, but roads can be deceptive so safe driving to all who have to go out (personally i'm hybernating for awhile ;)

Chris is doning great! No accidents, even though he drove by plenty of them on the road. Today he's in Iowa, with -6 degrees and heavy snow and ice, but he's now heading for Georgia. Please keep praying for him. Prayer WORKS!!!

No, his full name is Christopher, but I chose it because the meaning of the name Christopher is "He who holds Christ in his heart". I really like that.....and he really does.

Remember honey, they train them to handle all of this, and I'm sure he will be fine, but a few dozen prayers from our online family, can't hurt!

Boo, thanks so much for your prayers! It just makes me feel better knowing that so many people are praying for my son. He has passed by many accidents in his travels so far, but the key word here is "passed". I feel like there's a special blanket that surrounds him and keeps him sheltered because of the many prayers going up in his behalf. Besides my wonderful family here praying for him, I also have many friends from work who are praying for him also. God can't help but hear all those prayers rising up! Thanks again, and have a wonderful New Year!
