Skyline was Truly Beautiful!
We saw a bear the first night, and watched as he climbed a tree. We also saw a family of Raccoons, a bob cat and a skunk, all on our first night driving up the mountain!
The trees were bright and beautiful. The clouds were so close we could almost touch them!
It was very cold at night. The days were cool and comfortable. There were so many people on the mountain to see the fall leaves that all the camp sites were filled up and the trails were filled as were parking lots on Saturday! I have never seen so many people on the mountain as I did this trip. As we drove off the mountain we found a two mile back up of cars coming to get up the mountain.
We came home on Sunday night, then left in the late morning for Ocean City Maryland.
We walked on the board walk which was fun, but the greatest thing was walking out on the beach with our pant legs rolled up and the waves coming in and hitting our bare legs and feet!
We watched the sun set on the beach, and the many sea birds pecking at the sand to get a last snack as the waves pulled away and the sun disapeared to be replaced by the 1/2 moon.
These wonderful trips were a gift of my daughters time to me. bless her heart she drove over 1400 miles just since Friday and gave me all these wonderful sights and feelings which touched each of my senses and gave me such pleasure and great joy. I love her so.

To all of you, I wish you could have been along to breath the fresh clean air on the mountain and the fresh sea breeze from the ocean, and to see the all the sights I have seen.
