Yes indeed, the high humidity, and the changing air pressure can really make breathing difficult. Stay inside, and keep your rescue inhaler handy.

Try sitting near a fan and let the breeze blow in your face. If its humidity, this really helps me to just have some moving air

It has been raining for days here in Arizona (we get your Calif. leftovers :))

And, yes, it is more difficult to breathe and I also don't feel as well as usual.

ps, though I must say, the humidity is a lot lower then what it has been since the temp rose....last week humidity was in the nineties and today it's about 50, much betterer...

another ps, my fan has been going 24 / 7 it sure helps...

Get a dehumidifier even when the humidity is 93% outside my de humidifier can keep it down to 30-40%...a safe place to go to when it's bad outside

The Ac helps with the heat aspect but doesn't help me with the breathing if the humidity's up. Having a fan on and circulating air in my face really helps so much more for that.
Even out and about, if I get really shut down, I have a small old fashioned paper fan that I use to help. I keep looking for one of those tourist hats that have the mini fans attached in the front. Won't make much of a fashion statement but dang it, circulating air is sure worth it!
