It has been raining for days here in Arizona (we get your Calif. leftovers :))
And, yes, it is more difficult to breathe and I also don't feel as well as usual.

Even out and about, if I get really shut down, I have a small old fashioned paper fan that I use to help. I keep looking for one of those tourist hats that have the mini fans attached in the front. Won't make much of a fashion statement but dang it, circulating air is sure worth it!
