Congenital heart disease is heart disease in the newborn, and includes congenital heart defects, congenital arrythmias, cardiomyopathies, and hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM). CHD can describe a wide variety of different abnormalities affecting the heart. CHD occurs when the heart or blood vessels near the heart does not develop properly before birth.

Hi everyone I've been working with my doctors about my heart and bp problems and I've been noticing that when my bp is high and I'm walking around that my right foot goes to sleep and feels like it's tightening up has anyone had this or herd about.please let me know. Thank you. God bless.

Another 2 penny diagnosis (it is worth 2 cents) is that you have a nerve trapped in your right foot. One version is tarsal tunnel which is like a carpal tunnel in your foot. Early warning signs of stroke are usually facial numbness or drooping, inability to speak, one sided weakness, dropping things with one hand...the symptoms occur closer to the head. Talk it over with your doctor. I hope this helps!

I agree that you should call the doctor. You know your body better than anyone and if something feels like it is off, listen to it. You are already working with them, so they know what you have been dealing with. There is always the chance too that if you are on medication, it could be medication related. Or a thousand other explanations. The body is a wonderland of medical mysterious. Be your own best advocate and take good care of yourself. Warmest wishes and may you find the answers you seek soon!

hi there, i have congenital heart disease, and i have a lot of problems that go along with it including my feet goin to sleep and tighting in both my feet and legs, i also get really bad cramps in both and get an eletric shock type sensation in the curve bit in the bottom of my feet sumtimes when im walking and get major swallon feet , ankles and legs, and its all down to circulation the doctor has said, unfortanatly in most a bad heart = bad circulation :-( hope this helps, but if ur still worried i would talk to your doctor :-)
