I know I am having multiple issues with my son too. And docs have told me the only way to get him the help he needs is by finding a place for him to go live where he can get the therapy and help he needs. Not everyone likes this route or wants to do it. But sometimes we have to for the safety of all involved.

my heart goes out to you, you have been through a lot. Please be good to yourself. you deserve it.
Not to scare you, but if he put a knife to his neck he eventually very well could turn it on you and or your family. You need to do whatever is necessary to protect yourself.
