Common Variable Immunodeficiency Support Group

Common variable immunodeficiency (CVID) is a group of 20-30 primary immunodeficiencies (PIDs) which have a common set of symptoms but with different underlying causes. CVID's underlying causes are different, but the result of these are that the body doesn't produce sufficient antibodies in response to exposure to pathogens.

Hey, I love the dynamics of this group, and believe prayer goes a long way. I don't typically request prayer in outside communities, but we all understand chronic illness here:) I have a friend who got the call for a second lung transplant tonight. They are taking her to pre OR and will find out soon if they were the right match for her. There are a few reasons that this is so close to my heart. I have lost 4 young friends to her disease, she has been one of the greatest influences in helping me to walk my journey faithfully, and many of you may not know that I am currently being classified with the same condition for treatment purposes until it can be confirmed or ruled out. This is really pulling my heart strings tonight so I wanted to reach out! Thank you in advance. Y'all are amazing:)

Please know that I am thinking of you and your friend. Will send healing energy your way and to your friend and pray that all goes well. You look so young and I want nothing but the best for you. A lung transplant is no small deal. Poor thing.

glider, from your lips to, Gods ears. I will be praying for your friend and her family as she goes through this process tonight. I will also pray for the family who so generously provided the organ that will hopefully be a match for your friend. and restore her to health hopefully tragedy can bring peace and healing to all envolved tonight.

Glider, I'm praying for peace and comfort for your friend. I'm praying that the lungs are a match for her, she does great in surgery and that she has a speedy, uncomplicated recovery. I pray that the lung transplant helps her quality of life greatly and that she can continue to help other people. I also thank God that she has you for a friend and that you have her. I'm also praying peace for her family and peace for you.

Dear Lord, we pray that you lay your healing hand upon these two and protect them and heal them. We know you have a plan for them and their families. Give them strength to make it through all they are going through. May the Lord light a path full of Blessing for both of those who are suffering.. In your name we pray..Amen
