I had these as well last year. I had roughly 7 or 8 infusions at the time myself. The majority of the nodules and the opacities are at the base of my lungs. The doctor was kind of puzzled and was going to monitor by pulmonary function test, and eventually a bronchoscopy. My lung functions are well above normal and I have zero symptoms and blood work is fine as well.

Do you have any symptoms, why did you have a ct done?

No symptoms. I had a Ct done when I was pregnant to check for blood clots and at that time they noticed the nodules and they have monitored me every 12 months now

Have you had any of the tests done yet? I guess my pulmonary Dr said some cleared on their own so they want to do another Ct in 3-4 months to see if others do the same.

No, I haven’t had any test yet other than PFT, and blood work. My last CT was in November and same nodules went away and others reappeared. Described as migratory. Primarily at my lung bases. My doctor is not ready to do an invasive biopsy procedure yet. Wants to monitor PFT every six months with blood work and another CT in November possibly. I had double lobe pneumonia in 16’ which last two months with multiple hospital stays, which lead to my cvid diagnosis.

I’m 36 years old, was always healthy growing up with very few illnesses. In 2011 I had an acute ITP episode and from that point I had constant sinus infections, and a couple episodes of bronchitis, it was a constant battle along with extreme fatigue. Like I mentioned in 16 after developing pneumonia, and not being able to completely rid it after nearly two months I became extremely ill and required an extended hospitalization. An infectious disease doctor knew something wasn’t right and checked my Immunoglobulin and I was deficient in G,M and A.
After seeing a immunologist and being being diagnosed with CVID, I then started my infusions. I get them every four weeks and it’s made such a difference. No more sinus infections and so much more energy.

I am 37 years old same scenario always healthy until after I had my son in May 2016, that winter i had reoccurring sinus infections with headaches and major fatigue. I saw an allergist, ears nose and throat doctor and then was finally referred to a hematologist, he was the one the diagnosed me with CVID after seeing my IGG numbers low. I think I had it all along was sort of dormant and I was dealing with it and then the birth of my son triggered it somehow. I get IVIG every 3 weeks was every 4 but I started to notice joint pain and tiredness around that 4th week so we bumped it up to 3. I have noticed such a difference with energy. I had a few colds this winter but never have had pneumonia or bronchitis. My immuno doctor said there is an increased risk for lung inflammation in CVID patients. I'm just stunned since like i said no pneumonia or bronchitis. I have a few upper lobe nodules, glass opacities but most of mine are in my lower like yours. My pulmonary dr said more than likely its gonna develop in bronchiectasis. But I'm thankful that the infusions make me feel good.
