Common variable immunodeficiency (CVID) is a group of 20-30 primary immunodeficiencies (PIDs) which have a common set of symptoms but with different underlying causes. CVID's underlying causes are different, but the result of these are that the body doesn't produce sufficient antibodies in response to exposure to pathogens.

Anyway, the pharmacy said to give me Flebogamma as it's the closest thing, but when I googled that it said not recommended for people with log IGA. guess what. I have low iga.
So I'm sitting here waiting for the infusion center to call my doctor.
Anyone else in this position of switching. My blook pressure is already starting to go up thinking about new side effects.

I think that is why Ilike getting my infusions at home. My nurse 's sole responsibility is me . . no distractions . . no other patients . .she also knows my retinue . speed premeds and there never is confusion.
Aside from being infinitely more convenient, I think it is much better nursing.
She has never increased the speed from the physicians orders . . although I have often asked her to. I really take it fast . . .but I think I could tolerate it even faster.
She is coming today . . . .my only complaint about her is she is always late . . in 20 years, I don't think she has ever been on time
