Common Variable Immunodeficiency Support Group
Common variable immunodeficiency (CVID) is a group of 20-30 primary immunodeficiencies (PIDs) which have a common set of symptoms but with different underlying causes. CVID's underlying causes are different, but the result of these are that the body doesn't produce sufficient antibodies in response to exposure to pathogens.
i find if i give in and have a couch day it usually goes away faster.... my doc told me when he dx that rest was most important when flaring, i did not believe him until recently he was right... sometimes a day or 2 of rest will get me back on my feet.... even my 23 yr old daughter with cvid agrees as much as we hate it it is a way to get back on our feet.
